Best fresh cookies and croissants. Quiet breezey, place in off hours. Free parking. Food was good too!

Just as tasty as it looks. Homemade sausage breakfast sandwich & Cheddar Chipotle breakfast sandwich. The bread for the Cheddar Chipotle was like a fried cheese bread mmm... the chipotle flavor was just enough, not too much.

Came here for lunch. Food is pretty good. A little slow to come out, and there weren’t many people here when I ordered. Acoustics are terrible! Place is LOUD with relatively few people in it. Staff cranks up music which makes it worse. Coffee is just ok

Delicious fresh baked bread for the veggie sandwich I ordered. The baked goods looked so yummy!

I really like this place for the ambiance and lattes and the food is mostly great. The baked goods are baked in house. The croissants are not truly top of the line, at least I've been served a pretty marginal croissant and haven't tried again. (Wasn't light and flakey. At all.) But I've also had delicious food and baked goods here. They have a nice spot with games and toys. I'm happy to have L'acajou (which means "the cashew") close to home.Also, please bus your table! 🤭

The Chocolate Croissant gets a little orange marmelade in it, the combination is really great. Warm baguettes and great pastries. If you live in the Oakland Hills, this the place to go to find your french goodies ツ

Had a great experience here on a Sunday morning around 10 AM. Got a warmed up almond croissant that was lovely, and a quality cup of coffee to go with it. I also see that they have handmade baguettes for sale, which can be tough to find. Will be back for the handmade bread when I have some cheese at home to go with it!

Food was delicious, but the service is slow. Expect to wait awhile.Has a nice little patio if you bring your dog.I highly recommend the pistachio raspberry bun!

This place is great (definitely deserves five stars) except for their front door, which doesn’t close on its own and makes the whole place super cold. Will update to five stars when the door is fixed!

Really not that great. We tried several things, and all of them were below average. They looked good, but something just tasted off.

Amazing food and place. The tri tip sandwich was cooked to perfection. I was also able to get fresh squeezed grapefruit juice and some Mate Tea.The place also had fresh baked goods.

Handy place for lunch / coffee. This salad was fabulous!

Warm cachito de jamon y queso . Delicious latte and great music and clean environment.

Decent food but the staff was downright rude to us today. We came in after a hike for a snack, my partner took five minutes with finding a sandwich in the menu. After we ordered a sandwich the "cook", who was drinking beer, scoffed "all of that for this" in a hostile tone. This place is okay at best and I don't see then getting far if this is how they treat patrons. It's well worth a drive to somewhere that appreciates your business.

Small local place with amazing pastries and breakfasts.

I have always been a fan of L'acajou, but was super disappointing after my last run with them. I ordered through a catering platform, and it was an utter failure. Missing food items, yogurt was packaged in a paper box instead of a plastic container, 30 min delay. I used to order for large groups and i will not come back to this caterer again. Super embarrassed to face people when they ask is this all the food you got to feed this group of people.

They have good food here, but the customer service is poor. Latte today was barely warm and it was over 25 minutes to be served a simple breakfast. Attitude of employees not friendly.
